the Dead Zone works great for bigger guys and its pretty easy to hide in the field. (Some layouts made for big guys cast a big footprint that's hard to hide in the field!)
This is the blind I'm leaning towards now.

Yeah I just ordered a dozen fullbody goose decoys from there yesterday. Next week ill be ordering my layout blind and some new rubber knee boots. You can't beat dunns prices anywhere on the internet, love that website!

Just Googled "Dunns Hunting", said they no longer have a site, and will not offer anything online. It then tries to send you to Cabelas. Am I missing something?

Yeah it still works, I couldnt wait any longer. Just ordered my layout blind and some rubber knee boots. I ended up buying the tanglefree dead zone.

I just heard that Rogers Sporting Goods has the new Hard Core blinds on sale for $130. I heard they are nice for bigger guys and also don't cast much of a shadow? I have never seen them. May be worth a look.

If. You mean the man cave, its not really a new blind as its been out for I think two years. Its also NOT for bigger guys. They're on the smaller side and they have rather straight walls. They fisrt came out at around $199.00 and they're already down to $130.00...what's that tell you?

Sorry just trying to help the guy out. Showing any and all options at a good price. I also just saw this blindat Gander today and it is not a "small" blind. It's not huge, but also NOT on the smaller side. I would say it is just as big as a Ground Force.

As far as size goes, especially for us big guys, I'd put the ground force in the mid-sized range. Its got the footprint of the finisher but with its lower profile it can be a bit tight for the bigger hunter. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could hunt out of one as they're fantastic blinds but if you call and gun it can get tight, especially in the late season when you have to have those extra layers on to stay warm. The mancave is smaller than an sub and with its sharper sides it WILL cast more of a shadow than a lot of other larger blinds. If you want extra room and don't want the profile of a real coffin in the field, I would look hard at the dead zone, the rogers goosebuster xl, the proguide xl, the m2 migrator, and of course the finisher. Keep in mind that while the finisher has the room and folds up SMALL, it has a smaller cockpit opening than all of the others. Just something to keep in mind...

Find one that is comfortable and easy for you to open. Go to a hunting store and try all of the layout blinds on display out. People get to caught up on a brand name. Try several of them out and see what works for you. I use a Scheels (Avery) Finisher. Good luck in your decision.

I would say get the M-2. you get the room but still getting you hid better and it has some nicer features. I would really suggest not getting a FA and for sure because you will be hunting in colder weather, they are a pain to put up... Though the M2 and Finisher are more comfy, they also really stick out unless you put alot of work into hiding them. The Power Hunter is great because it is light and when packing in the truck you can fit more decoys in! Hope you find what you are looking for! Good luck hunting!
