Are you kidding?
Duck calling is 100 times easier than goose calling.
With a goose call- you have to use back pressure, and certain hand positions to create different sounds.

With some duck calls- mainly double reeds- all you do is blow, and use your index and middle finger to control the quack.

a goose call take a lot more air to operate- mainly short reeds.

keep practicing

yea, in my opinion goose calling is by far the hardest to learn. When I first started to blow a duck call I thought it was hard, but then I picked up a goose call and my opinion changed quick from duck being hard to goose being very hard and duck easy. But now I have been hunting for about 10 years and I can call ducks and geese very well. All it takes is practice. LOTS of it!

I am a freak or maybe the 10 dollar knight and hale magnum clucker model 218 is really easy to learn on. The duck calls i have are SUZY-Q duck call by quaker boy and primos easy mallard. I am a beginner, only 15. Maybe i will buy a double reed.

So what about this use your diaphram crap my uncle says?

I hunt with 2 guys all winter long. One is o.k. on a goose call, but can't blow a duck call. The other is good with a duck call but can't blow a goose call. It is the strangest thing, but I do 95% of all calling anyway.

don't listen to that diaphram crap.

when you blow, and breathe- you use the diaphram- just a dumb way of saying- take in a lot of air in your lounges- and hold the air in- and use a little bit for each quack

Hey i'm 17 and have been callin about every day for year and i just moved up to acrylic calls the Big guys Best singel reed and the custom smh and i love them i have found duck callin easier but it's key to say the words you can make the sounds other ways but u won;t be able to get better if u can't say the words. I focus on humming VOOT into the call for my quacks and tick tick for my feeding call if u can say those words into the call u can make any sound u want. Happy huntin however i haven't mastered the rooling feed call any one have some tips. :)

It took me a long time to get the rolling feed call. IMO it's one of the hardest to learn. All I can tell you is to keep on practicing, that's how I got it. I thought the day would never come that I could do it but it did and now I can do it so easy.
