Up here in Rhode Island, I have started to see an influx of high Flying flocks of 20 - 60+ birds each morning for the last week or so all working towards the southwest from Narragansett Bay. they're coming!!!! Good Luck

WE STILL HAVE THOUSANDS IN ALBERTA. SOON THE LAKES AND RIVERS WILL FREEZE AND THEY WILL BE ON THEIR WAY. RIGHT KNOW THEY ARE HEAVY AND FAT.

  Well fellow goose and duck hunters BE PREPARED WE HAVE HIT -18 THE LAKES ARE FREEZING THE RIVERS ARE ALMOST ALL FROZEN AND THE BIRDS ARE HEADED YOUR WAY THESE ARE THE LATE ONES BIG AND FAT CANADAS AND MALLARDS.

GOOD SHOOTING
hey noodle im just east of I-83 and we have plenty of geese right now. how far west are u. im hoping the late season is evening better. this is my first year goose hunting and im having a blast
The lakes are frozen up here in Minnesota. But there is still a lot of geese near town, and the late season hunt starts the 6th and ends the 15th. So I'm going to try my luck one more time, than all be sending them down to you. Happy Hunting
Hey noodle, if you have a 5 geese limit then you are hunting almost all resident geese and not the migrators. the migrations won't do you a lot of good unless you go more east and then the limit is 2 I believe in your state, but hey it's better than the one they allow us here in maryland. Goose numbers wern't good here until after thanksgiving. JIM

i would say half to sixty percent of the goose population is in southern illinois where i live. there are alot. in the field behind my house this morning i counted 23 neck bands. and the weird thing is is that i have only seen geese in this field once or twice in my intire life. but now it looks like the refuge.
