Hey guys:

Killer site...in Cali we hunt snows and honks in alfalfa fields, REAL GREEN.
Anyone know or have suggestions about skinning a layout blind? I'm thinkin' like the stuff the banana's sit on in the grocery store. What I'm really after is something like that...lite and w/o the shine. Thx for the help. Jim

Avery has some Realgrass that is called winter wheat. But I've got wheat right next to the house and the Avery stuff is darker than what wheat actually looks like but I think it would work.

hi, for your info, I went to Cabelas, bought a small package of their quack grass, paid about $20. then had a friend tell me about Hobby Lobby, they have the same damn stuff, in bigger packs for $4.oo, go figure, so go to your hobby store, ask for the floral dept. take it home, and spray paint the stuff any color you want. the pack at cabelas, did not cover my hid out blind, but with the 4 packs I bought later, I have plenty to cover the blind, and also the half of my portable dog kennel whichj I use for hiding the dog.
