Shotgun for girlfriend.....Ithica 51?

My girlfriend became addicted to bird hunting this year and wants her own scattergun. I've seen a Ithica semi that I think is model 51 in cherry condition. Does anyone around here have one or used one. I'd like some user info before I buy it for her.

The most important thing is to get one that fits her. If it's too heavy or doesn't fit well to the shoulder, she'll get frustrated and give it up. Regardless of price, take her to a shop and have her try several brands/models and see which one suits her.

Here's hoping we get another addict!

Actually, she really,really likes my old A5 mag. Maybe I'll just let her use it after I get my 935.
