i've only been hunting geese for the last couple of years and i'm hooked
i have about 250 wind socks (200 snow & 50 blues) and geese are flaring
on my spread. i now realize i need some shells or full body but they are
so damn expensive. any suggestions.

Ebay as a great selection of decoys. I've purchased floaters, shells and full body coys with half the amount of $$ that you would spend ordering them through a catalog. good luck

I got 5 doz carrylite shells for $375. Not a bad deal.

Ebay for sure, especially after the season when the demand is down, right now keep checking for the new listings with the "buy it now" option, check it often and sometimes you will get a dozen or two at a reasonable price from someone who doesnt realize what theyre worth. As for the short term answer with youre spread, think about adding some silo's, there is a website that has unpainted 5mm coroplast silos for around $40 for 3 dozen. You can go to www.webfootdecoys.com to see the real geese dekes. I just bought some HIgdon stackables shells and they work very well you will almost mistake them for full bodies. They add movement to the spread also.
