Where do you recommend looking for waterfowl in Saskatchewan? I'm looking at travelling the beginning of October, and main interest is Canadas and snows.
The Quill Lakes area (Wadena) is the most notable area. Pressure is fairly heavy though. Look west of there and you'll find less people and plenty of birds.
Move one province to the west Alberta and you will find all kinds of Canadas and Snows in a comunity called Stettler Alberta. I do not hunt Snows mostly Canadas and ducks. Our hunts this year have been very successfull. If you are looking for a excellent reference for a guide you may want to try High Country Outfitters out of Cardston Alberta for Canada only.
Howdy you Goose hunters in Saskatoon or Regina area...
I'm coming into Canada the first part of Oct. and would like to find someone that would have some tips on goose and duck hunting .I'd like to just go out on my own or one or two locals that would go with.
I would say go to fish lake foamlake area for hunting there is a ducks unlinited slew that the snows and canadas flock to and to you who is going hunting in regina area there is usually good hunting up there and do it like you would anywere else
