I am new to the site and new to goose hunting!
I am an avid river duck hunter and accepted the opportunity to go Goose hunting.
I went goose hunting for the first time X-mas Eve. We sat in a ditch 600-700 yards from the river waiting for them to come over. This ditch had small dry grass on the sides and was 4 feet deep and 7 feet or so wide. If I were to lay up against the side of the dry ditch in my advantage wetlands camo... are the geese going to spot me? The guy that guided the hunt made us get under some tumble weeds. Is it that important to hide my shape?
BTW... no geese came our way that day.

We hunt feilds mostly and we lay right in the decoys or off to the side of them but the main thing is not to move. we use cover up camo like that die-cut stuff or whatever we can find to blend in to the feild that we are hunting. also remember to cover up your face and hands because they will spot you every time if you don't! :)
