Was just wondering about motorized goose decoys (Mojo Canada Goose Spinning Decoy) anyone use them or hear anything about them.

They can be used like"flagging" for long range attention getter--but buy the remote control with it so you can turn it on and off. Most of the time the geese will flare off at 100 to 200yds out when the spinner is on. so when they are a coming at you-turn it off. Frankly a good pole flag like Randy "flagman" Bartz's are will work better and are alot cheaper too.

Word of caution---some states they are illegal---and some states the spinners are legal but the remotes are illegal, and yet some states have different closed seasons when they can be used---so check your states laws carefully.

When I go goose hunting, there always seems to be some kid in the field next to me with one of the wing spinner decoys (not sure which one). But a lot of the time when geese come in, they'll fly right past me and go to him, same with ducks to. So I'm pretty sure they work, and I think I'm going to pick one up myself. But like h2ofwlr was saying, you have to turn them off or the geese flare. Happy Hunting.
