I like them. :) I will buy them for all my shells from now on. They are cheap to begin with, so I would not try to make them.
I bought some and had really planned on using them as a pattern to make my own. After looking at them, I don't think it would be worth the time and effort to make my own. I'll just buy more for 20 bucks.

Yes they work and IMO work great. You can regulate the motion depending on how high they are staked and look very life like.
Motion stakes are definately worth it. When I buy shells I look for the ones that come with them. Those with metal stakes work the best, they are longer lasting.
Just go out and grab some Avery motion stakes with the springs on top. My friend brought up a good point though, when using them with fullbodies without the footbases on, the decoys kind of turns sideways to the wind. I am hopefully going to be running another 2-3, maybe 4 dozen shells on stakes this spring!!!
I looked on the Avery site for these but didn't see them. Can anybody tell me where to find them? Thanks!

The motion stakes make the ghg shells look awsome.
2 dozen of them on motion stakes is a deadly combo on late season geese.
Well I wouldn't put all of them on motion stakes I would lay the sleeper shells on the ground.

That's what I do. I use the rest for my fullbodies.
