We jsut got some snow here in Pa. We usually remove the snow from the area we hunt. It provides clear ground for the geese and helps the snow melt fast. Good idea or bad?

What ever works for ya. Bare ground should be attractive to the birds. Myself I love to hunt when the snow is on. My pit is on the edge of a hay feild and a corn feild and when the snow is on I try to imitate a resting area on the hay feild. With snow on the ground geese can see decoys from a great distance and it seems that I can decoy geese from a greater distance because I'm able to get their attention by being more visable.
