As far as trapping goes-there is a big learning curve in the how to and how to do it efficiently. I'd suggest subscribing to the Trapper and Predator Caller & Fur-Fish-Game magazines. I am not aware of there is a online forum for it-I have never checked. I used to be a semi-pro trapper for Fox, ****, mink, beaver and muskrats 15+ years ago. Frankly the fur price is too low to make a living off of it anymore, thus why I stopped.
As for hunting - well you better be a bit more specific. Big game, small game, upland game, waterfowl all are different.
Bottom line the easiest way to learn is from guys that already know how to do it, simple as that. Then also read a lot of article and such to glean tips. But bottom line is nothing replaces years of experience doing it.
