I was just wondering how everyones early season has been going for them. Here in Texas, early duck season opened last weekend and there are lots of ducks here and we are starting to see a few geese here and there.

So far my son and I have had excellent sucess. To morrow morning we will be in a field with some 700 Canadas. I wish I could post pictures I think you would see what I mean.

We still have thousands of Canadas coming through my area in Alberta. However soon the lakes and rivers will be frozen and they will all head your direction. Some maybe three or four thousand stay in the river valley near Calgary Alberta as the water their stays open and there is no hunting.
