It took only a month but Goose Buster's in Almyra, Ar did get packed and moved. Just imagine 20 years of experimental geer, some that worked and some that did not. Some experimentals in developement and some in the grave yard and some in production(but only in certain circumstances) and some that we would not leave the camp house without. Were it small enough to fit in your pocket or large enough to strap onto the trailer(strap because there was no more room for more geer). Several caravans of trucks were turned around and taken back to the camp house to recover one of those experimental items that were imagined to dictate a great hunt, one of those 50 kill days. We did have some of those days. Yes I will miss the old camp. Many nights of 30+ hunters from 7 different states all anticipating the next sunrise as they listened to Hoot tell his stories, many stories on into the night, unpredictable stories of stories over the years and too many to tell outside of a full novel. Hoot will be back next season, in a different smaller camp south of the old camp so come again.
