Hevi-shot is GREAT on close, far and any shots in between, this stuff goes through a goose like grass on a golf course! In other words I love it and geese hate it. I am using 3 1/2 B now but fell in love with the stuff shooting 3" #2's.

is hevi shot any good for up close shots?......and what would u reccomend for far shots for 12 gauge 3 inch or less!?!?

Because of the price,I was a hesitant to use hevi-shot for my 10.One morning out and it made a believer out of me!Range is superb!It's like hunting with the shotgun equi. of a 22-250.!
