New to the community. Excited to see what I can learn and share with everyone.

I’m looking for some advice from experience goose hunter. We are transitioning from duck hunting to dedicated goose hunting. I have an opportunity to lease land for next year’s season. Which would you think to be more productive?

1. To lease all of one large farm say 500 to 800 acres or

2. Lease multiple 100 acre parcels spread out over a 10 or 20 square mile area of farm land.

I’m planning on lessening both harvested grain fields and green fields.

Is it important to lease enough to have a buffer around you to protect from other hunters activities?

Thank you for everyone who shares there experience.
