I'm looking for an extra flat black paint to decoys heads with. I've tried the cheap spay paint, doesn't work to good. Has anybody found a paint that sticks well and is really flat. Thanks for the help

Krylon makes an ultra flat spray(Walmart). But if it goes on a hard surface and it gets scuffed it will appear as a shiny spot.
I heard Pittsburgh paint makes a real decent flat black that will not shine when scuffed, that is what many decoy painters use on their wood decoys.
If you are paint polyethylene plastic heads-nothing is meant to stick to the plastic. So use a plastic primer like that used on plastic car bumpers after lightly sanding the platic with a soft sponge sandpaper block.

I hope this helps. :D

Krylon I believe also makes an ultra flat paint that you can paint on yourself. I used the black spray for their heads and then hand painted the white patches on myself. Looks pretty good and made it through last season without any marks. Might give it a try. Good luck.
