Opening day is almost here for the state of Texas. Early duck season starts this weekend and me and my buddies are fixing to go nuts if it doesn't get here fast. We found a great pond with about 500-700 ducks on it. We talked to the landowner and he said that there have been snows and canadas on it as well as sandhills. We might get a few bonus snows this weekend, too bad we have to wait another week to shoot the canadas.
