hi,fella's did you know that most of your big name call maker's are useing the same gut's in there call's.the only difference is how they are designed.and bored for air flow to get different sound's from one call to another. Your Close..Its amazing how close they seem, and also what a few thousands can do to a soundboard and tuning.. The Hess boys say they invented the Short Reed. Nobody has disputed Charlie that I know of.

yeah he make's a great short-reed.i know a few buddies that have one,there collecter's of call's.there wife's are about to throw them in the dog -house.
