Hello Gentlemen,

I'm new to this forum. I hunt in NE Ohio, anyone else?? How did everyone do in the early season? We did ok, 5 Canadas and quite a few doves in 2 trips. Season ended today, can't wait for regular season October 16th.

I'm from Ohio. Mansfield area. good job on the geese. i didnt have a chance to go out in the early season. cant wait for Oct. 16!

i live jsut south of toledo and in the past week weve had two to three thousand geese stick around. there has been a large number of saint james bay geese flying around along with a flock of snow geese. these birds have since then relocated just 10 miles south of here but the number of mallards sticking around is unbelieveable for this early in the season

Hey, Ohioans - anybody ever hunt Portage Lakes? Found them while doing research on the W&LE RR. Not far from New Castle, Penna. Are they worth my buying an Ohio license? Are they restricted like Mosquito Lake? Wadable? I'd like your views on these lakes.
