my friends and i are hunting york county in the rp zone. we have been hammering them. we havent seen as many geese as last year but we got our act together and are having a banner season. three of us hunt and as of last sat we have killed 84 geese. the stange thing is ( no bands) not last year not this year either. i know theese are not all resident geese . because they didnt show up untill late november. and every time a cold front moves in we get a whole new batch. good shooting
I hunt in Lancaster county Pa. there are more snow geese in this year than there ever was before. the game commission estimated that there is 150,000 to 170,000 snow geese in our area right now. Just wanted to let anyone know that this is the place to hunt them. If you get a good farm and have enough decoys you can limit out everyday (limit 15 a day).
im in york county right on the maryland line. right on the susquehanna, so i could throw a rock and almost hit lancaster county lol. we had some great goose hunting around here this year and late now im even seeing snows. first time iv seen them around here
some friends took me out for the first time during theWinter of 2003-2004. I'm officially hooked. i recently went out and bought some bigfoots and shells and now i'm looking for places to hunt in lebanon county.
two of us killed 94 canadians this year and 80-85 ducks, ended up with one duck band! residents, residents, residents. i feel your pain . have you noticed there getting smarter and smarter every year. floods here in central pa made for the best duck hunting ever. (flooded corn for months) did any one else capitalize on this? where do i hunt snows ?
