Just seeing if anybody using this site is from Kansas. I live .5 miles from the Flint Hills NWR in the small town of Neosho Rapids. I go to school at Hutchinson Community College in the Fire Science Program. Getting ready for those snow geese. Anybody else doing the same?

I hunt mostly on the marshes of the Flint Hills Refuge but also have access to a bunch of private land. Where do u live? My brother and I will hunt about anything that flies. I like snow goose hunting but he will take Canada Geese over anything. We are both ready for the season.

Hey guys, It sure is nice to see some Kansas waterfowlers on this site. I am in Hill City, KS and I hunt Kirwin mainly. The goose capitol of Kasas. I also hunt Webster Res. and Cedar Bluff Res. The goose hunting up here has really taken off the last couple of years. Record number of snow's too. If you guys want some good hunts, one of my partners has started guiding on our leases, I can put you in touch.

I can do better than that. 7 of us jumped them off the marsh at Hartford. 195 dead snows, and I am not joking either. We picked them up for 2 hrs. Then we went and cowed some on a few fields. We ended the day with 265. That is my best day snow goose hunting by far, but it did make for a lot of killing. We made a ton of goose jerky last year.
