:?: Hey everyone I have a question.

I was out this morning and I had at least 5 flocks come in to check me out and then take off. I could not get them to commit to my spread.

My question is when the birds are hovering over your decoys how do you call and how do you flag? I was in a pit with my head below and my arm out flagging and calling in a few different variations to none at all.

What do you do in this situation?

Thanks and HAPPY HOILIDAYS TO ALL!!

You have to do the hardest part of goose hunting-read the geese. What works one day will not work the next so be ready to change things. Yesterday i had the same situation to I figured out they weren't talking much so I just flagged and never raised my call. In they came. You have to read the geese real well to do well every day. Just make sure that you are hidden and that there is no glare on any of your dekes and practice the calling. The better you pay attention to the geese the better you will do. Good luck JIM
