small spread, lots of shells on the ground. Geese will land and belly flop into snow to melt it. they like to lay around and be lazy when really cold and snowy.
you could try the christmas snow spray, but it won't completely cover and rubs off easy. maybe try a sheet, wash in uv soap. some white sheets look blue outside
dig in as much as possible, the sprinkle the snow back around blind
