A goose hunt ,19 guys, and we ran 10 dozen full bodys ,9 dozen sillos .
We shot 35 of our 38 geese .it was fun fur sure .
anymore the most I will take is 9 guys for goose ,and 4 for ducks to hard on the dog when your the only one that has a dog .
9 guys, 5 dosen shells in the early season in a little oat field. Limited out in about 35 minutes. Talk about crazy!! And we walked in about a quarter mile...thank god for hand carts.
9 guys in individual pits in swath rows with 4 dz whitewall tire decoys. We limited out on big canadas about 49 years ago. Those were the good old days.
7 guys probably 10 dozen decoys....... It was a slow day so probabl18-20 geese.......Not a very organized group (I was invited to join while scouting the same field) too many guys with no patience. Prior to that day I had not yet shot a goose (that season) beyond 25 yards. These guys would start shooting when they were committed but still 70 yards out. I really don't like more than 3 guys.................easier to hide and far better chance of everyone getting some shooting especially if the birds are coming in small flocks....................
