my dad has a great looking mounted wood duck like that too!!! they're an amazing bird
(Missouri's canada goose limit needs to be increased to at least 3)
Well my wish was granted on the 3 limit. Too bad the 2011-2012 season has been a bust due to the weather. o well I am already looking forward to next season.

Talk to a taxidermist in your area, but the going rates should be between $175 and $250 for a mount like that.

If you are taking a bird to someone new make sure you look at other birds they've done the more the better.

If you see a mount or pose that you like on the internet, print it out and bring it along to show it as an example. It will help both of you in determining what you end up with as a final product.
