What lens should i use?

I want to start getting into waterfowl photography while im out hunting. I have a Canon rebel. Any suggestions?

I would stay away from the canon 70-300 is lens maybe go for the less costly sigma 70-300 Better yet go for the 400 l if could afford it or even the canon f2.8 200 and get a good 1.4-2x teleconvertor
