Wouldn't accomplish anything to get them now, no room left without going to a trailer, which is next year's project. Along with another bunch of snows and some blues to add to the 8doz I bought this year, and some duck shells, maybe a couple more calls, maybe a rotary flyer. That oughta bust the budget pretty good. Yipes!!!
mostly confused is normal, if I ever figure it out, let me know

Im jealous. I have maybe 4-5dzn duck deeks and 3 dzn goose shells but 1/2 of all of my deeks could benefit from being replaced.

A little at a time and they will start to add up fast.

My Higdons came yesterday, that is one sweet deal through Dunn's right now. great way to add numbers without taking up to much trailer space.

BHaven,
Do you like your Higdon shells from Dunns? I see they have a great price. Looking to add to the spread and at that price, I really can't beat it.

Thanks,
Mick

i just got some Redhead shells and they are pretty nice for the pice IMO (also got them on sale for $70 a doz)

the paint aint the best but i coulod care less geese cant see all that great anyways and they are kind of rubbery so they wont crack when its cold and hold their shape well

I have to say I am pretty impressed with the Higdons but I am using them completly as filler decoys. I don't use any of them on motion stakes or just use them alone (which they definantly would close geese) I have some oversized GHG shells that I really like but I can almost buy 4 dozen for the price of one dozen GHG. The flocked heads and color scheme work really well. Preferably I like to run about one dozen shells per 3-4 dozen full bodies. At times during the major migrations we will probably run between 10-25 dozen full bodies so the Higdons will look perfect in the mix and take up next to no space and I like them much better than silos.

just ordered three doz of the higdons from dunns. shipping a bit much bit overall a good deal for numbers in the spread. i have 2 doz real geese silos so they will work great as a spread.
