Look at it this way. If you don't want it getting banged up or rolling around in the back of your truck or blind of getting lost in the field on your way in or out and it'll fit...THAT is what you wana put in a blind bag. That and snacks of course!!

A quality camera, goose jerky or snack sticks made from goose or venison. And on those really cold days maybe a flask of blackberry brandy...

Seems like as the years go on, my blind becomes my blind bag. Always amazed to what I find at the bottom when I clean it out. I usually just grab a drink(or find one in bottom of blind) box of shells(always loose ones at the bottom of blind also) head lamp (usually a spare somehwhere in my blind)
If I was a goose I would want to land in my decoys.

My "blind bag" is the front seat of my truck. It has a couple boxes of shells my calls, flag, gun and my SK roughrider cup. Decoys are in the back seat and the bed of my truck. All my stakes, the rake and my blind are in the bed of the truck too.

Speaking of Bags, I use an Avery floating Pit Bag but this year I switched. I now have an FA Large Layout blind Bag. This bag has the Best of both worlds for features. Thanks Brentbullets,

Murph.
