one day years ago on the Kuskoqwim river it was clear and the white fronts where flying high. I a few spesc came over and had be dead all morning so I said heck I going to try I led this bird a good yard and they where flying fast on the wind. I was shooting copper plated 1.78 oz lead premire loads high price at the time and deadly goose mojo Dang I hit him in the back of the neck and one in the breast . He made loud slap when hit the mud bar on a creek, he hit so hard it split his breast open and he climbed out of this big hole he had made never had a goose rip there breast in half only once in my life. It had to all of 75 to 80 yards shot luck of course . had some swans make loud splats coming down on the tundra those can hurt a man when wounded I had a swan lay on his back and try slash me with his leg spurs. kim
