Hey all new member

Postby spurgeon18 » Wed Jan 18, 2017 7:33 am

Hey y'all. New member from Ohio. Family used to be big into it, then the main guys got out of it and most of the stuff got sold by a certain family member without permission. We're trying to get back into it pretty hard. We still do pretty good. My uncle, cousin, his wife, my buddy and myself are about the only ones to go right now. Hoping to grow our group to 6-8 eventually. Also slowly but surely building our decoys back up. Here was our day Sunday, 2 short of limit(not for lack of birds, but for lack of good shots[emoji23]). Our first neck band ever came as the last goose. Pretty darn sweet. Hope to get get more into this forum!ImageImageImageImage

Looks like you picked up right where you left off, just don't try to think about how Little a certain family member sold your decoys for and what it will cost to replace.

We usually do pretty decent. Which I'm really happy about. Especially these educated late season birds. Yeah it kinda sucks to think about, and were right in the middle of the stinging pain of buying all new decoys lol got a bunch of blues and snows in our area this week. Very rare. Not sure where they came from, but hope they're still here come the weekend. What kind of chances do we have getting them to come into our spread?

If I was a goose I would want to land in my decoys.
If I was waterfowl I would want to go in my pond.
