Training Program

I have an 8.5 week old lab pup, not my first lab but my first dog to train. So I don't have a ton of experience with retriever training. I do have buddies that train though so I'm not going it alone. One of them told me I needed a training program to follow. He recomended Evan Graham's Smartwork system. What would/do you use? I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Evan Graham's program is a good one. I used Mike Lardy's retriever training to train my dogs. Good Luck! keep us updated to his progress and show some pics. If you have any problems with any part of his training don't be affraid to get on here and ask for info because there are alot of trainers on here and may have a simple solution to your problem.

Thanks redlab. I think I'm gonna go with Smartworks. I've heard a lot of good things about it
