Lone and Cut
Not trying to butt in here but I recently had the same dilema as you two. What I came up with is a shelf for the side walls. I ran the shelf about half way up the wall and secured the bottom portion with a 2x4.....this was for the bracing on the bottom shelf floor. After making a cheap shelf floor of plywood and 2x4s...I secured the bottom of the shelf to the brace 2x4 with four hinges. This allows me to swing the shelf back up towards the roof. I took two eye bolts and secured them onto the outside of the shelf floor. On the metal trailer studs, I secured a smaller piece of chain...through on of the chain links using a bolt.
The theory...I lay the shelf down during transportation and it allows me to get 5 bags of f/b on it. Use a bungee cord and strap them from chain to chain (side to side)...learned they will not stay up. Then when I get to the field...hook the shelf up...gives me complete access to my trailer and four wheeler.
I would post pics but my trailer is an hour a way in storage....hope this helps
Let me know if you have any other questions about this.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
