Might be the wrong forum, but here goes
I am looking for ideas on how to put a fold down blind on this boat. Doesn't have to be fancy, just functional.

I know, DON"T buy a different boat. That's not an option right now.

Buy a different boat? Jkk Kelly. If the deck is flat like a bass boat which I'm assuming yours is, maybe try the same concept as how you mount the seats?...pole stands and use conduit for the frame. Yer gonna have to do something bout the redneck red sides though! :rolling: Maybe double layer burlap with weights to hold it down while stationary and you can just haul it in the bout when you're running?

if I use the stipper pole idea you refer to, then I don't have anywhere to sit, LOL. I do agree the bright red needs to go away. I wish the whole boat could go away. I'm sure I could make a frame, it's the fold down part that has me confused. I also don't really know how big is too big, or to small.

I saw a really nice home made duck blind a guy did on his fishing boat on GLW I think. I'll try to find it and post up. The link. His was really slick and best of all removable for spring and summer use.
