Stuffers

Postby dsg694 » Fri Nov 14, 2008 1:13 pm

I would really like to make some stuffers to hunt over, but i have no clue where to begin. I know there are some different steps to mounting stuffers as apposed to show mounts but i don't know anything about any kind of mounting. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Stuffers

Its not hard to do , but to do them right they still take lots of time ! If I was gonna mount them to hunt over I'd still charge at least 100.00 ea ..... Minimum ...... Save yourself the hassle and buy some DSD's ... better than any stuffer (unless they are show quality ) but Id still take the DSDs and I guarantee that you will hunt over them more than a few seasons before they fall apart if ever .... You' ll be lucky to get 2 seasons outa stuffers unless you BABY them ....... Check out goose stuffers or go to taxidermy.net and see what you can find .. lots of info there ... Good luck !

if you hang the suffers up and dont put them up wet, and coat them in hair spray or scotch guard they will last, we have 17 now and the first 9 look just like the 5 we just picked up. I know that i baby them compared to the shells and big foots but at 100 bucks a pop who would just throw them around.
