Nice mount, taxi did a great job !! Always like those birds. Have only harvested 2 so far and that was some years back. Like the walley of the sky they are though ?

Thanks yall. It was the last day o the season last year and we had two young guys from Alabama in the pit. They'd never seen specks work, and when we threw the lid open, a cluster o thirty birds tu-lu'in at 12 yards overloaded their senses. I think they were flock-shootin' and didn't touch a bird. I chose this one and had it mounted to remember the hunt.

They are great table fare, Lab.

Head south to California, Louisiana or Arkansas, jon. They all winter lots o birds.

outstanding looking mount! I hunted yesterday and shot a pair of juvy specks over my decoys. although neither one had the black bars on it like yours . must be immature specks. first ones I have ever bagged. would have loved to have mounted one of mine but, now that I see yours . I think I will wait and get a better looking one.. unfortunately we don't see too many around idaho...
