I have only used #2, BB, and T.But thats just what I have lying around. For choke tubes I use full or extra full for just geese.I have learned that I should use a way more open choke.
2011/2012 season
1 ringneck duck
1 meganser
5 pheasant
5 quail
7 dove
1 rabbit

I shoot a Remington SP 10 with Improved cylinder, my favorite shot size is BBB. Ive patterned this particular gun and the improved choke seems to give me better coverage at 40/45 yards. My advice is to select the size shot you want to use and then pattern the gun with different chokes to see which gives the best performance. Note my hunting buddy shoots a SP 10 as well and also uses the improved over decoys but switches to Mod for pass shooting, when we pass shoot, I still keep the improved in and I kill as many geese as he does
If youre there for the limit, youre there for the wrong reason

I'll be shooting a Carlson's Mid-Range choke and Hevi-Metal BB's this season. First season with this combo. Used number 2's in the early season with great success, but without going into the boring details, BB's will fly late season!

X2 on that. I actually have been using black cloud 3" 2's past few hunts. Crushing em with that combo Cashman mentioned.
If I was a goose I would want to land in my decoys.

I use HeviShot Goose #2's with the Extended Range Tube for all types of Geese.
It is lethal on them.

I use a briley goose getter choke with either HM BB's of Fiocchi #1's have had pretty good luck with both. If HM made #1's that all I would shoot.
