I'm looking at purchasing a new dog blind before goose season and was wondering which of those two I should get. What are the pros and cons of each and if it's worth getting a snow cover? Thanks guys!
I've used them all........with that said I now only used GHG dog blinds.....very easy to set up...folds flat.....strongest frame out there...IMO......can't go wrong with a GHG.....snow cover is a must for those light to 2" snow falls...blind just disappears ..IMO....
"First off, you've gotta be smarter than the dog!! " "That leaves most trainers out......"
All right, I was kinda leaning towards the GHG, but I don't know if I should get the normal or ultralow. My dog right now is a small lab, only 55 pounds and not very tall. But if these last awhile and a future dog is bigger should I just go with the normal size? Or does a decent size lab fit in the ultralow? Thanks!
Small lab, go with the ultralow. I understand looking long term but if I could get away with the small one it would be worth the money. Big CBR means biger blind. Oh and when you get your GHG dont worry about your hunting buddies asking who makes it, they will figure it out.
I went with the lowpro...75lb yellow lab. They learn to turn around pretty easy in it. Mudd, mudd, mudd is the next step...covers up what Weps10 is talking about. I have it in field kaki...recomended to me and i gladly pass it on.
Go with the low pro. My lab is a whopping 50 pounds and he has plenty of room. And as stated earlier, mud, mud, mud, mud, mud, spray paint, and more mud!!! The kids love mudding blinds so if you got em' use em'.
