My buddy dropped off some pulled goose it was amazing The wife even liked it when asked what he did he said 10 hours in a crock pot with Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce

So your buddy illegally transported waterfowl? :stirpot:

Pulled goose is one of the fastest ways to make a bunch of snows disappear from my freezer! Usually do 2-3 crock pots at a time then freeze it in small batches.

You got that right. Between jerky and the crockpot I clean out my freezer very fast.

Same here! Last batch...14 pounds worth, went in lest than 10 hours at my work! All those anti/non-hunters absolutely DESTROYED it! Thought it was some of the best BBQd beef they ever ate. :wink: Needles to say when they found out I got all the standard "OMG! THAT WAS GOOSE??!!" Then I got requests to make a bunch more. :thumbsup: Side note: I though that once a goose is prepared and can no longer be identified as goose it was alright to give away as much as you want? I just looked through my brochure and it only stipulates from the field to the home and nothing about after preparation to be consumed...Couldn't find anything else specific on the federal site either. anybody have a link regarding after prep to consume regs?

he got it in September on Long Island during this season we are allowed 8 for the day
