That is a lot of pelicans.
That old homestead reminded me of an old building from my childhood..actually it was a very small old brewery 50 years ago

I've always thought of pelicons as saltwater birds, that is cool!

We get a ton of pelicans up here in ND. I use them for migration clues, when they migrate chances are the other birds will follow suit shortly after.

You should see the amount of fresh water game fish these birds eat, it sickens me. Little frys and fingerlings mostly. Wish they would stay in the saltwater.

I wish I could find the picture, they cut the stomach open on one of these birds and its stomach was completely full of fingerling walleyes.

Cashman, we can just put duck decoys out, I have a place here that I can even get duckling decoys, but I'm not sure that i want to get anywhere near then evil looking birds, DSM, fugly isn't even close for a adjective for that bird, but I don't think there is a word for that uglyness

...and we can ring the dinner bell to call 'em in! With the way things are going this year, I'm going to have quite a great deal of pent up aggression after the season is over so I'm gonna need something else to hunt or they might be checking the "do not renew" box on my contract at the end of this year!!!
