It is a SANYO E2100, not sure if I am going to keep it yet, I got a 2 week trial so I am taking lots of pictures. I have had it 2 times just freeze and had to drop the batteries and turn on again, but I have read on camera reviews that some people are having same problems with $3-500 cameras too. This one was $150, was looking at Kodak and Canon too but the 14.0 mega pixel with 21optical zoom that got me, plus the lower price

The super compacts have come a long ways to giving a good picture at over 12 megapixels and a neat over 20x optical and 30x on some models. I would stay away from Kodak as it has cheap features to lure first time photo bugs. A canon is a great camera but you are paying for a brand name with less features.
These super compacts are small enough and you don't have to lug around big heavy lens and they get the job done.
Look up Steve's Digicams for reviews and sample pics.

Hello,

Yes, Really good picture quality, the best camera that I would suggest is canon power-shot s95. I have been using it for sometime now and absolutely loving it. It's an EXCELLENT camera.

Best regards

If you ever want to upgrade and have the cash. I bought my wife a Canon 50D and a couple higher end lenses. The camera takes excellent photo's. I think we walked out the door with the camera body and 2 lenses for $1200.
