I am a duck hunter in Louisiana. I have tried to for the last 4 years now. I have not been able to fine someone locally that would send them to me.

I will make room for vets if I have birds! I use layout blinds not pits. fyi. The land owners won't allow pits and sometimes I do pass shoots if the timing is right.

Ditto on a hunt!! The 20th is the opener for MD Goose season. Once I know that I have birds in great quantities, I would be honored to have a vet or 2 join me on the Eastern shore for some great goose hunting! Thank you for our FREEDOM!

Does anyone have any contacts for the organization that lines the hunts up? I can't remember the name of the group that does it.
Thanks,
Mick

I cannot believe I haven't posted on this thread before but, I too am a vet. Aim high!! It would be my pleasure and my privilege to open up a couple of my private land spots to a vet, wounded or otherwise that would want to go get at some big honkers up here in north western PA.

Goosin ain't easy. West siiiide!

I too am a vet, and would be more than happy to share a hunt with a fellow veteran. If you are in the Danville, Illinois area drop me a line and we will try to put something together.

I am in Leavenworth, Kansas and have the gear and geese to share with any of our troops active or retired. I am not sure how you can contact me from this site so email to
scollins1953@hotmail.com. Geese are here and season lasts till mid February. February to April (depending on migration) my son has a snow goose spread of 900 full bodies and 500 silos that is available also two hours north of here in Nebraska. All hunting is done from layout blinds and I have the blinds.

Just wanted to share that I received a PM from Jaybee240 a veteran from Terre Haute, Indiana last week. He wants to get together and share some hunts. We are looking forward to building a friendship and having some fun in the field. This is a great forum and I hope other vets are successful.
