I would definitly recommend this to other hunters.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably end up buying one this weekend.

I have the rogers hot seat(actualy have 2 for my second blind), I've used it this whole year, haven't got it into real cold weather yet, but it is a comfortable addition, way cheaper than the F.A. brand. I also have the F.A. water moccasin, worked really well when we tried them. Rogers also has a house brand spring board, I remember a guy here tried it and liked it.....

I always use a sleeping bag mat...you know the thing you put under your sleeping bag so you are not laying directly on the ground? That does the trick for me. I could fall asleep in my blind.

2 of my buddies have those FA hot seats. Man they keep the blind warm and are pretty comfy too. I'm buying one in the very near future thats for sure.
If I was a goose I would want to land in my decoys.

I wonder if the spring board from Roger would be a good choice ? has anyone used them here and do you like it?

I bought one of the hot seats for my SUB last year - a seam opened up like a zipper the first time I used it, filling my blind and coating me with Styrofoam beads. I had a couple of closed cell foam sleeping bag pads, so I just use those. They roll up smaller, are just as warm, and much more comfortable. Best of all when they get muddy I can just hose them off.

Our best spot is a winter wheat field & we've been using green hay to hide the blinds, so I put a little hay under my blind and that helps smooth out the bumps and keeps the blind from getting too muddy.

This is the answer to all of your problems. Momarsh Invisalounge seat. Loosen up the back rest straps of your blind a bit and use this seat.
