Hey Everybody,

I'm a regular over on duckhuntingchat but also enjoy goose hunting around the south Texas area. That and I mount quite a few a year that I wanted to start sharing over here.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Jon  I enjoy all bird hunting whether waterfowl or upland. Geese have always been a real motivator because it's harder (here anyway) to get places to hunt them and their so damned wary. I'm still shooting for the Blue Ross' so maybe one day. Did get to do one for a friend that was a gorgeous bird. Jealous to say the least!

Real nice work....can't let my son see any. My taxidermy bill will exceed my decoy expences!!!!
Love the thud, after the feathers fly!!!!

A good hunting partner doesn't complain when it's: too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, too early, too late, but will razz you when you miss........Thats why I like my dog!!!!

Hey Eric, can you give me the rough dimensions reguired for a three goose dead mount similar to the one you've displayed here. Roughly how much room would be required for the speck and snow mount if an average size Canada was added? I gotta measure first!

for a very rough estimate I normally do 3 1X12 so 36" across and then make it around 32--34 inches tall. Hope it helps. You can make it bigger or smaller if needed. Just depends on where it needs to go and always have the option to alter the poses on the geese as their mounted to compensate plus or minus as well.

Hope it helps,

Eric
