Light Bulb

I got to see the lightbulb click in Kate this past week and just wanted to let you guys know and see if your dogs are connecting the dots and getting better in their training?

Hand signals have been there and Kate did fantastic this past year hunting by following all my hand signals but for some reason in yardwork she has never done great at them, but this week she took every signal and did amazing. I even accidentally blew on the whistle to stop her and she stopped immediately on a dime. I know this is what she is suppose to do so it doesn't sound impressive, but it helped me to realize that with a lot of hardwork and dedication, even a common everyday guy like me can train a sound hunting dog....thanks to you all, rich stawski, good training plans, etc.

Congratulations to you and Kate. That feeling is priceless...the knowledge that you trained your own dog to communicate, and be a hunting partner for life.....
