well as you know, all dogs are different. I am by no means any kinda trainer, but i do know the dog has to know the kennel command. from there, its just a matter of getting him/her used to the blind. treats, and toys worked for coaxing mine into the blind. I do not recommend forcing the dog in there by the collar. it would associate it with something that he/she dosent want to do and is not comfortable with.

Put the blind in the yard or kennel where he can access it. Let him discover it on his own and get comfortable in it. I put mine in a shady spot in the yard and after a couple of days the dog was lounging in it. Then start working on getting and keeping him in there on command. Mine is set up in the house now and I will throw stuff in there for my new pup. He goes in and out like it is another piece of furniture.

Hi friends,

Thank you for your valuable tips, when I was a child, we had a dog that was blind as far back as I can remember. She did fine and was able to man you ever around the house well. Make sure you give him extra love!

Nice to meet you

Thanks
Ritchie Michael
