Hunting out of the avery quick set blind w/dog

Postby MNGooseHunter » Fri Sep 16, 2011 1:30 am

For those of you who use this blind or a similar blind how do you make it so your dog can see? I want to keep my dog in the blind but allow her to see. Our boat does not have a flat deck up front either. Thanks for any help.

I made my own carbon copy of the Avery quick set blind n my boat is a tri hull without a flat front...I had problems with my dog not being able to see also, and she's an unusually tall n skinny black lab! I cut a hole in the side of marsh grass side mats and replaced the hole on the side with a camo very thin sheet that is see thru...I only attached the sheet on the top side blind so it was almost like a camo duck blind doggy door! I dunno it seems to work great for me...good luck! And remember it's not a real duck hunt without a duck dog!

How about a detachable stand? Only good if ur dog is steady!
