The sad part is, yes it's expected...... It is a shame that one must work hard at finding something to purchase that IS made in the USA. It is getting harder and harder every day.

This is a good example of where you can have quality and quantity at a reasonable cost for anyone wanting to get serous about goose hunting. Very nice looking decoys from a company that has been around for awhile.

I am very happy with mine. The feet fall off while carrying them, but a handful of screws will fix that. I like them better than Bigfoots, they are just a tad smaller, bag easier, look better and are just as tuff. A little cheaper to.

Kelly, I'm about set. Its either gonna be Dakota lessers or these new Higdon Alphas this summer for me! I WILL be replacing my spread this year with one or the other. While the decoys I own now are decent and finish birds, I want all one brand in a quality, tough, good detailed decoy...just makes sense for set up, clean up and I'm done with all the headaches...I will of course be keeping my Big Al's silos though!

I have 6 GHG Lessers, and 6 GHG Full Body, everything else is some form of a Higdon.
I am thinking about getting rid of the GHG's and replacing with Alpha's.
Customer Service at Higdon has been awesome for me. Compared to GHG, i get the impression they couldn't give a sh** if they help you or not and I have always felt like I am wasting thier time.

But unfortuneatly if things at work don't improve, I won't be buying anything. Then I will have alot of stuff for sale, truck, boat, decoys etc.
