Great hunting call

Postby sweet talker » Sat Jan 07, 2012 7:57 pm

Picked up the Wing Lock "Long Neck" in walnut the other day and I have to say its a great call. Only took a few days to master and it s my go to hunting call now. It s my first wood call and i couldnt be happier. Anyone else Like them?

Well when i got it i didnt know how well the whisper would blow because of the small hole on the bottom where the air comes out

Whisperer, Longneck, Original

I use the Whisperer the most. I hunt small fields where volume is important

I have the Original, Longneck and the Whisperer in walnut. I used the Longneck almost exclusively for 2 years. Now the original has taken its spot on my lanyard but only because my calling has progressed to where I can run the original better. Still have 2 of the longnecks and won't ever part with em. Simply an AWESOME hunting call! I still haven't found the opportunity to run the Whisperer yet as we just don't get alot of water hunts around here. I do find the Whisperer to by just a little finicky on how it likes to be tuned, but that could just be me.

I gotta couple of those stinkin Winglocks....and yes the lockneck is a very nice call....and once you get the hang of that..the original is another.
The whisperer is a very nice quiet call..hence the name. It was developed for close in areas surrounded by tress and hills. I have a pond that it encircled by both and the whisperer is the cats meeeow.

I wouldn't mind a par 4, just because they are cool looking, but I won't be buying any more calls. I can't make the ones I have work, no sense buying more. I don't collect, all mine are used.

The only ones I don't use is that flute and the
Gadus short reed. All others have been used. Some more than others
