Buck Gardner Canada Hammer II, and a Buck Gardner Wood Duck call, this one seems to work good, I'm not I know what sounds to make, LOL. I got rid of my Zink SR1, and my Lynch Mob Slip Knot Hybrid. I also got rid of my Committed Custom Calls Goose. I miss the Zink the most, that may have been a dumb mistake.

The BG II is not a bad call really...some calls are easier to run and operate then others...everyone is different. The CCC call does take some know how for sure...then again...I can't operate a Zink call to save my life... :goodtimes:

The Zink's seem to break really easy, makes it hard to switch to some of the others. I really liked the sound of that SR1. I can't seem to get any of the Winglock's to that same tone.

exactly,

Seems this year the few Geese I'm seeing won't even look at me while calling. Don't know if they don't like the call, or if I have picked up some bad habbits and doing something wrong.

That's hard to say Kelly. Maybe go back to the basics...but without being there...maybe not your calling at all...could be decoys or your hide??

doubt it's decoys or hide, I have been digging my blind in about half way, same blind as last year all properly prepped. Same decoys as last year, I think it's me or finicky brids, LOL. We have a very low population of birds in my area, and I'm sure they have seen everything possible.

I mean how you set your decoys...Kelly..not the decoys themselves....and possibly were you put your blind.

could be, but from what I see in the field where the birds are feeding, I'm doing about the same. I have been changing where I locate blind, next time I go out I'm gonna put the blind in a spot away from decoys and see what happens. I can't them to even look my way, so I really don't think it is setup. These birds are a 1/4 mile away. Flagging doesn't help either.

I could agree with you if the birds were coming in then leaving or flaring. I think it's my calling, I'm gonna leave the calls in the truck next, use the flag, move the blind and hope for the best.

LOL about an 1.25 hours apart. I have been to Gh's house.
Wish we had something to hunt. I believe GH lives in the north zone, and that season closed on the 7th. I have until the end of the month. I have put Goose hunting on the back burner for now. I got invited on a Snow Goose hunt in Feb. I'm excited.
